i am deeply hooked on ophelia sikes novels but this series is a heartfelt one and has me at the edge of my seat like whats next. she is a very talented author and is thoughral on her stories its a must read!!!

A Romantic Interlude amongst the Horrors of Vegas

This book takes off few hours after the earlier book ended. Those hours are gradually revealed and we see Aedan as the hero he is spelled out to be.A greater part of this book serves as the romantic interlude between Heidi and Aedan but the impending dangers maintain background humming with anticipation. This book also gives us a full introduction to Aedan's character as opposed to the mysterious millionaire sporting beautiful girls but with a golden heart covered in loneliness. The book ends with a end that is hard to believe and harder to accept. The book leaves us praying for Heidi. Hope those prayers are answered in the next book.

Pulls you in from page one.

Great little series, gets you hooked on the first two. I just wish she combined them all into one. The short novellas would be grand as one huge book. I'd paid 3x's more for one. By the time I had gotten to book three the price jump turned me off. Eventually, my curiosity will get the better of me. But, the darker side of Vegas and inner demons really grip you by the heart as you follow along.

Book was okay

I bought this book at the same time as "Mommy Was Your Tummy Big" to try to start to explain to my son how he was conceived in a more generic way, but to get the point across since he was only 3. This book was okay, but I liked the MWYTB book much better. This book implies that you know the donor, which doesn't usually happen in a lot of cases and I don't want my son to think that I can easily introduce him to the "special lady" since I have no idea who she is. Also, in the beginning of the book it says Once a pot a time instead of Once upon a time, which I don't know if it's a typo, or a British term, since this seems to be a British book since they refer to Mummy instead of Mommy. Overall though it is a cute book and helps get the whole subject started if need be.

I Think This Book Is Great.

I think this book is a great book for several reasons and I can't understand why they discontinued it. I teach a class in ceramic mold making which is what this book is about. I gained quite a bit of knowledge from this book and highly recommend it to my students if they can find a copy to beg, borrow, or steal. I consider it one of the foremost authorities on the subject. And although it was written in 1973, it is pretty much still current today as the technology hasn't changed all that much. I can't say enough about the authors or the book. To sum it all up I think it is a really great book.

A good goofy little book

If you find this book you will pick up a lot of tricks. Once you get over the cheesy objects that they choose to illustrate as demonstrations...you will see excellent model making methods. If you work with plaster...you should have this book around. It is excellent for teaching students. Beginners will get something from it and so will the seasoned professional. I think these authors really have skill...Only complaint is aesthetic...I wish they had a stylist and bigger budget for a more comprehensive book.

I used this book when it first came out in ceramics classes and was hoping to use it again. Having looked at three or four others, it is still the most clearly written and informative work on the subject I have found.
